Exciting opportunity for students to develop their social research skills and help shape the direction of the University’s approach to widening participation.

The Widening Participation Impact Pot is able to provide two graduating University of Leicester students with an exciting opportunity to develop their social research skills and help shape the direction of the University’s approach to widening participation.

We are providing two scholarships for the MSc in Social Research. This course provides an expert grounding in the practice of social research. Upon completion of the course, students acquire the necessary academic skills to develop, implement and evaluate social research, making the MSc an excellent basis for career development. Following completion of the taught element of the MSc, students will complete a specially assigned dissertation that will evaluate the impact of one of the Widening Participation Impact Pot's key initiatives.

The scholarship is available for Home/EU students, and will provide full remission of fees to the recipient(s).This scholarship is only open to University of Leicester students who meet the eligibility criteria for the University of Leicester Graduate Scholarship.
