With Freshers’ Week just around the corner, we want to give you some of the key information that you need to know.

As you prepare to embark on your new course here at Leicester, we know that you'll have plenty of questions and queries. We're here to help you and over the summer staff have worked tirelessly to ensure that your induction to Leicester is as clear, helpful and welcoming as possible.

To help you settle in to University life, we have summarised some of the key points you’ll need to know below.

Online registration

The Charles Wilson Building, home of the Student Services Centre.
If you have not already registered online, you have until two weeks after the start of the course (for most students, this will be Monday 9 October 2017) to register through MyStudentRecord.

New EU/Home students can undergo their ID check, complete registration and receive their Student ID card at University accommodation (Oadby Student Village and Nixon Court). This will save you having to come to campus to enrol in your course.

Overseas students can quickly and easily be registered by visiting our Visa Checkpoints in the Charles Wilson Sports Hall and Student Services Centre.

If in any doubt, please visit the Student Services Centre in the Charles Wilson Building.
