Leicester City Council want your views on the future of Leicester Market.

After the successful creation and launch of an award winning food hall at the heart of Leicester’s historic marketplace, the City Mayor has expressed his desire to continue investment into the outdoor market.

The City Council are now asking for the views of local residents and those who regularly use the market as part of a £3 million reinvestment project.

They are running an online survey up until the 24 December which will give you the chance to shape the future of the market for generations to come.

The survey is on the Leicester Market Website and you can let them know what you think needs improving, but they also want to hear other ideas that aren’t included in the survey.

Once the survey has concluded, the results will be used to identify priority areas for investment and detailed plans for improvements will be drawn up and discussed.
