Would you like to spend two weeks this summer helping improve the lives of children in the small village of Ivancea in Moldova, Eastern Europe?

From Saturday 13  to Sunday 28 August 2016 the charity TEECH will be installing toilets, sinks, urinals and water heaters into a school to give children indoor flushing toilets for the first time.

This is a unique opportunity and something that would be a fantastic addition to your CV and life skills in general. You will be able to learn new things hands-on, or share your skills if you have a trade, while visiting and learning about a country you may not be familiar with, meeting new people and being part of a team.

Volunteers are required to raise £700 to take part in the project.

  • £500 covers all expenses - the coach hire, four hotels on route to/from Moldova, food (not drinks) at those hotels (evening meal/breakfast), insurance, a T-shirt and food on location
  • £200 contributes towards the cost of the actual project – sanitary ware, electrical supplies, timber, plywood, paint, tiles and much more!
  • You are encouraged to fundraise using MyDonate to help towards your costs

To apply, please contact holly@teech.org. On application a £50 deposit is required to secure your place.

More information, including some of the things to expect from the trip, can be found on the TEECH website.
