The Leicester City mascot visited our campus on Friday to give away tickets for the Foxes' game against Swansea.

Students and staff alike were reaching for their phones as the one and only Filbert Fox visited the University campus on Friday 15 April.

The visit, which came as Leicester City are preparing for a home game with West Ham that could send them 10 points clear at the top of the Premier League, saw Filbert tour some of the Campus' most recognisable locations and pose for selfies with all and sundry.

From visiting the students' union to trying out our Danielle Brown Sports Centre, Filbert helped turn a grey and rainy day bright blue and put a smile on the face of students who were otherwise busy revising for the upcoming exams, and staff popping out for their lunchbreak.

Visitors also the chance to win two tickets to Leicester's home game with Swansea by tweeting a picture of themselves with Filbert using the hashtag #FindFilbertFriday.

We'll be cheering on Leicester City as they head into their last few games of the season and hoping they can maintain their unprecedented lead at the top of the table. We're also getting behind the #BackingTheBlues campaign on Friday 29 April. Keep an eye out here and on our social media for more.
