Cake sale is taking place in the School of Archaeology and Ancient History Building's Foyer to raise funds for Goal Zambia.

From 12.00pm today, the University of Leicester Archaeology Service (ULAS) Lucky 13, the School of Archaeology and Ancient History's staff and student football team, are hosting a cake sale in the School of Archaeology and Ancient History's Foyer.

The Cake Sale is taking place in support of Goal Zambia, a charity run by ULAS's Steve Baker that helps to support football academies, provide football coaching and equipment to children in Zambia.

The Cake Sale is being run by staff and students who are going to represent the University of Leicester at the Winckelmann Cup in France. The Winckelmann Cup is an annual football tournament formed of teams from archaeology departments across Europe.

Any cake contributions are much appreciated and all money collected will go directly to Goal Zambia.
