Leicester Students’ Union need you to be part of the brand new Peer Mentoring scheme in your department!

In partnership with the University, Leicester Students’ Union are launching a Peer Mentor scheme where all first year undergraduates starting September 2016 will be assigned a second or third year undergraduate student in their department.

It is aimed to enhance the student experience for both Mentor and Mentee, build positive relationships and provide reciprocal support.

You could share your tips about Leicester, the University, student life and what your department is like – remember all those questions you had after you received your confirmed offer and were waiting to start? Be part of the change that is needed to make sure all students feel part of Leicester life.

You will receive training and guidance on how to be an effective Mentor, develop transferable skills to add to your CV, and have the scheme accredited on your HEAR upon graduation.

If you are a current first or second year get in touch for more information or to register your interest Email peermentoring@leicester.ac.uk or visit The Peer Mentor Team in Membership Services, Student Hub, The Union.
