Interested in becoming an Environment Team Volunteer?
As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to work with the University's Environment Team on a wide range of projects and initiatives that aim to reduce the environmental impact of the University.
Being an Environment Team Volunteer is a great way to meet people, learn new skills, have fun and enhance your wardrobe (we provide t-shirts and hoodies for our committed volunteers) and it looks great on your CV.
To find out more please come to one of tomorrow's volunteer meetings:
Wednesday 12 October 2011
- Bennett Building, Lecture Theatre 3, 3.00pm-4.30pm
- Percy Gee, ARC, 5.00pm-6.30pm
If you can’t make these then there will be an informal drop-in session with members of the Environment Team on Thursday 13 October from 1.00pm to 3.00pm in the Fielding Johnson Building, Room 18.
We have lots of volunteering opportunities throughout the year, ranging from an hour to many days and even a paid post for one student who wants to really enhance their CV whilst making a real difference to the University and its environmental impact.
Over the last three years, volunteers have dedicated nearly 3,000 hours of their time to help the Environment Team.
