Would you like to spend time in China to learn its language and develop an understanding of its culture, business and life in general? Open to full-time undergraduate/HND/Foundation Degree/Nursing Diploma students in English, Scottish and Northern Ireland Universities and Colleges of Further Education.

Following the huge success of previous Study China Programmes since summer 2007, the Department for Business Innovation and Skills, the Scottish Government and the Department for Employment and Learning in Northern Ireland are continuing to fund over 400 places per year for students to go to China.

Successful candidates will be learning Chinese language, attending lectures on Chinese culture, society, history and economy and visiting local businesses. We work with host universities in Beijing, Shanghai, Jinan, Hangzhou and Nanjing.  Programmes run every summer and Easter for 17 days with a choice of two locations each time.

This time we are offering a small number of internship-based places known as SCP-I.  This will be very similar to the main programme but with a daily work placement tailored if possible to your degree subject area.

You can expect a once in a life experience through this programme.  Our previous students have written glowing reviews on our website – www.studychina.org.uk. Application and reference forms are also on this site.

If you do not want to miss this unique opportunity, take action quickly!  The closing date for is 3 January 2012 at 5.00pm for applications and 21 December 2011 for references.

We strongly recommend that you Like the Study China Facebook page.
