Melton Mowbray Archery Club
Have a go at archery on Saturday 23 July 10.00am to 4.30pm at Wreake Valley Community College, Parkstone Road, Syston. Follow the target signs on the day and come and try an Olympic sport, £1 for 6 arrows. Members of the club will also be shooting and you will be able to watch the "experts" and how they do it. Leicester Coritanian Athletic Club
Are staging events at Saffron Lane Athletics Stadium on Saturday 23 July. Teams will consist of five people who will compete in the 100m sprint, 400m sprint, long jump and 4x100m relay. The fifth member of the team will be trained to assist in officiating in one or more of the events and the remaining four will compete. Training in all of the above events/officiating will offered from 10.30am with the competition starting at 12.30pm.
