Clinical Sciences Library moving to David Wilson Library, 5–7 August 2011
- The Clinical Sciences Library will relocate next month from the Robert Kilpatrick Clinical Sciences Building to the David Wilson Library. The current Clinical Sciences Library will close permanently on Saturday 6 August and will reopen as study space for medical students from Monday 22 August.

Local sporting opportunities this (Olympic) weekend: 22-24 July
- Next weekend marks the one year anniversary in the build up to London 2012 and the event is being celebrated with the Olympic Open Weekend. There are numerous events happening around Leicestershire with plenty of opportunities for people to try new sports and activities. The University has been linking with local clubs over the past year to offer greater sporting opportunities for its staff and students. Below are some examples of the types of activities that will be running between 22 and 24 July within the county.
