]]>There will be speakers talking about how to raise finance for your company, research export markets and develop start-up communities to support and nurture your ideas.
A series of advisors are available for one-to-one sessions on topics including: Marketing and Branding, Raising Finance, Accountancy, Tax and Legal Issues.
There will also be a 'graduate placement fair’ for short term projects with local companies. The ‘graduate placement fair’ allows graduates to promote themselves to local companies looking for short-term support. This initial engagement with the companies to work on mini-projects may lead to further employment opportunities within the company. Graduates should bring some form of ‘self-promotion’ details with them (poster, portfolio, CV) which they can use to show their work to the interested companies attending the event.
The previous HUB:BLE event was held at Phoenix Square in December and was attended by approximately 160 delegates from about 100 local companies. The event being held on 6th June 2013 is HUB:BLE-1 ’Boosting Local Enterprise’, taking place at the Curve Theatre from 09:30 – 16:00 with the graduate fair taking place from 13:10 – 16:00 in one of the breakout rooms.
