Lightning Strike on Fielding Johnson Building

A lightning strike on the Fielding Johnson Building has severely disrupted the IT systems in the building. Staff are currently working to repair the damaged infrastructure and hope to have normal service resumed by the morning. The Fielding Johnson Building is currently closed.

Other parts of the campus have been affected by localised flooding and further but more minor IT disruption.

The Fielding Johnson Building will be open tomorrow morning.  It is possible that there will continue to be problems throughout the day.  Staff should contact the IT help desk or Security accordingly.
