Changes to Prudential's Money Purchase AVCs
If you are thinking of adding to your pension provision through the establishment of a Prudential Money Purchase AVC you need to be aware that Prudential are introducing a change to their arrangements in the form of an early exit charge. Details of this change are provided on the pensions webpage.
Whilst the implementation date for this change is 19 August 2012, members considering taking a Prudential AVC are advised to take early action and ensure that their application reaches Prudential by 8 June 2012 so that you are not caught by the new exit charge.
The charge will only apply to the funds of members who commence MPAVCs on or after 19 August 2012 - it will not apply to those who have commenced MPAVCs before that date.
