Calls for research participants, w/c 20 February
Volunteers Required - have you received laser treatment?
Have you had laser treatment for diabetic retinopathy? How did you find the experience?
I am an undergraduate student at the University of Leicester School of Psychology, and I am interested in understanding how people are affected by their laser treatment.
This information could help us to understand what can be done differently or better, and potentially improve the experience of future patients.
Would you be willing to take part in a 30-45 minute interview discussing how you found the laser treatment itself, and how it affected your diabetic retinopathy?
If you are interested in taking part or would like to ask any questions, please contact Yasmin Dix: firstname.lastname@example.org.

Survey on perceptions of witnesses
Help with a Forensic Psychology project by spending 15 minutes on a survey
I am carrying out a research project for my MSc in Applied Forensic Psychology at the University of Leicester which examines how a mock jury perceives a particular witness. In order to this I have developed an online survey which will ask participants questions about a simulated court case. The survey will take approximately fifteen minutes to complete.
Could you take part in this study and forward on to anyone else that you think would be interested in completing it: http://www.le.ac.uk/pc/cap/jeh42/jury-decision-making-in-court-cases.html
We would like participants of all ages, over the age of 18, to take part in this survey. The research has been approved by the University's Psychology Departmental Ethics Committee.

Volunteers needed to discuss their perceptions of and experiences with door supervisors/bouncers
PhD research project into the regulation of door supervisors needs volunteers to take part in a single interview
Research into the door supervisor industry is relatively limited and none has canvassed public opinion. To redress this imbalance and gauge the impact of regulatory measures from a public perspective interviewees are needed to share their opinions and views on door supervisors.
Interviews should last no more than one hour and can take place any weekday or weekend on or off campus. All participants are automatically given anonymity and confidentiality is assured.
If you'd like to take part or need any further info please contact Claire via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or mobile (07813 096162)
