FP7 2013 Calls for Proposals now open: €8 billion available
The total budget for the calls is around €8 billion and these are the final calls to be launched under FP7. Call documents are available on the Research Participant Portal. The topics included in each of these calls are listed in the Call Fiches, which should be read in conjunction with the full descriptions found in the relevant Work Programmes. There is funding available across all research domains and it includes top down and bottom up funding schemes.
A few additional calls will be launched later in 2012 and 2013, including for the European Research Council, the Marie Curie Actions and within the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) theme under the Co-operation programme.
Please note that there has been a significant change to the timetable for this year’s ERC calls (the FP7 Ideas Programme). The calls for ERC Advanced Grants and Starting Grants (2 - 7 years post PhD) are open now with the call for Consolidator Grants (7 – 12 years post PhD), which was previously covered by the Starting Grant call, opening on the 7th November 2012. Extensions to the eligibility windows are possible in certain, properly documented circumstances.
Further information on all of these calls can be found in the call documents or by contacting the EU Team in the Research Support Office: firstname.lastname@example.org.
