Changes To The Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS) October 2011
As of the 1 October 2011 USS will be closing their final salary scheme to new entrants, and introducing a new benefits section to provide benefits similar to those under a career average revalued earnings formula.
If you are eligible for the USS scheme and currently not a USS member, you may wish to join the scheme under the existing arrangements.
