Martina’s interest is about postcoloniality and forms of political organisation. Her research 'Postcolonial organisations: A study of migrants from the former colonies in Italy and their organisational structures', will look at the role of postcolonial time and space inside the experiences of organisation, in particular political self-organisation. She will focus on Eritrean migrants in Italy, looking at the role of hybridity, colonial past and self-organisation in their political practices and the impact of their politics on existing organisations, both autonomous and public institutions. |
