The aims of the network can be grouped in two areas:
Academic exchange
- Facilitate collaboration and exchange between migration researchers within the academic community
- Develop interdisciplinary teaching and learning opportunities around migration
- Showcase migration research undertaken by scholars in a broad range of disciplines
Community and Public engagement
Encourage lively debate and exchange about important migration-related issues affecting communities in Leicester and beyond
Engage stakeholders at all stages of the research process
Build partnerships and knowledge exchange between the University and relevant local and national institutions'
