The Impact of Diasporas on the Making of Britain: evidence, memories, inventions

The Impact of Diasporas on the Making of Britain programme is driven by six linked projects incorporating some of the latest research in archaeology, genetics, history, linguistics, social psychology, and place-name studies. 

Five post-doctoral research associates have been appointed to these projects.

HALOGEN

The University has been awarded a second grant by JISC of GBP 85,000 to develop further a novel cross-disciplinary database, HALOGEN, to support the Impact of Diasporas project.
