Collaborate
The web provides lots of opportunities for sharing information and working with other researchers remotely, which makes it particularly useful for developing and sustaining collaborations. Collaborative tasks such as drafting papers or planning presentations are much easier when researchers in different locations can work together in real time on the same document.
Many academics use the web for practice sharing with their community. A lot of
useful information can be shared by researchers from how to conduct experiments to how to manage your supervisor.
Three spaces for collaboration and sharing on the web are:
Wikis are websites with mutiple contributors.
Google docs allows more than one person to work on a file at once.
Prezi Meeting allows multiple collaborators to work on a presentation.
