- Dame Professor Sally Davies presenting Dr Sadat Edroos with a 'highly commended' award for a poster presentation titled 'Remote Ischaemic Conditioning: A Model to Aid Translation to Clinical Practice'
Dr Sadat Edroos of the Leicester Cardiovascular Biomedical Research Unit attended an NIHR Experimental Medicine Research Training Camp and received a 'highly commended' award for his poster presentation titled 'Remote Ischaemic Conditioning: A Model to Aid Translation to Clinical Practice'. Seventy delegates attended the event and all submitted an abstract for oral or poster presentations at the event. Of these 70 only 35 were selected to present by poster, making Sadat's achievement particularly impressive. Sadat's award was presented by Dame Professor Sally Davies, Chief Medical Officer.
