Cancer Research UK

The Cancer Research UK Leicester Centre combines laboratory and clinical disciplines to understand, detect, monitor and develop new treatments for cancer.

Our research is tailored to unraveling novel cancer cell mechanisms with the aim of developing improved interventional strategies and biomarkers of disease.  We also study the underlying genetic basis of cancer, so as to understand risk and improve early detection approaches.
