Course Overview

Delivered by staff from the Press Office and Marketing Communications, this course will help you to understand how best to communicate your work to the outside world.

What can I expect to cover? 

The session will:

  • Help you to understand how journalists operate and how you should work with them
  • Give you an insight into television news production
  • Discuss creating content for the web
  • Help you to think about engaging with audiences through social media
  • Equip you with an understanding of the principles of good communications across different channels

Researchers, academics and administrators who want to know how to publicise their work or the work of their department.
