Introduction to Leadership

This on-line resource provides the hub for your management studies.  It is particularly useful for anyone who is beginning a career in management, but will also be of interest if you have been in a management role for some time.  Once you have worked through this you will be encouraged to compile your Personal Development Plan to expand your management skills and knowledge.

To access Introduction to Leadership On-line Resource you can self-enrol and work through it at your own pace.  When you have completed the learning you will be able to:

      • Explain the differences and similarities between management and leadership
      • Describe at least two different models of leadership
      • Assess your own leadership qualities and preferred style of leadership
      • Commit to personal actions for your own development

Completion of the Introduction to Leadership is a mandatory part of the ILM Award in First Line Management.
