This course programme explores a range of aspects of course design – innovation, flexible delivery, quality systems and problem-based learning. You will explore the tools and information provided in more depth with other participants working on their own curriculum projects.  Such collaboration and the needs of your own curriculum development will drive forward your consideration of:-

  • Models of curriculum designs
  • Innovative delivery (ICT, Distance and flexible curricula)
  • Material development/ choice of learning resources: innovation, piloting, reviewing, copyright
  • Leadership and management skills
  • QA matters, monitoring and evaluating
What will I get out of this course?

  • demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the transferable skills agenda (eg the Leicester Graduate initiative) and its relation to curriculum design
