Programme of Skills Workshops for the Professional Researcher
This is a programme of workshops primarily designed to enhance the skills of doctoral candidates and early career researchers. The workshops have developed in response to training requests from doctoral candidates and research staff, and continue to evolve.

The programme consists of a series of both, general and specific IT and research skills developed by the Academic Practice Unit in conjunction with the Staff Development Centre and IT Services. The programme is delivered by a range of internal and external workshop facilitators, with administrative support provided by the Staff Development Partnership

Enhancing Research Practice Award:
Recognised by the Staff and Educational Development Association (SEDA), the Award is designed to be flexible and consists of two elements - core workshops and training pathways.
