A half day course designed to give participants an opportunity to learn how the University evaluates positions and develop skills to be able to undertake the evaluation process.

This course runs for 4 hours.

Understand how to use the University’s job matching process to accurately evaluate and grade a position.

The course will cover:

• The basics of the Hay Evaluation process
• University Job Families
• The grading process
• Skills practice

Managers/Team leaders currently or likely to be involved in the job evaluation process or with extensive involvement in recruitment of staff. 

This training is not appropriate for members of staff who only wish to apply for regrading.
