About the Association of University Administrators (AUA)
The Association of University Administrators (AUA) exists to advance and promote the professional recognition and development of all who work in professional services roles in higher education. It operates a professional development scheme, runs national and regional training events, produces several publications and holds an annual conference which attracts high profile speakers.

AUA Professional Development
The AUA runs an accredited qualification the AUA Postgraduate Certificate in Professional Practice (Higher Education Administration and Management) (OUVA).
It also operates a Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Framework
Events
The AUG supports a number of events with interests in topics ranging from 'Equality and Diversity' to 'Space' Management.
Networking - Midlands Regional Networks
The AUA Midlands Network hosts a number of regional events which are normally free to AUA members. At present the AUA is hosting a set of regional seminars based on the themes of the CPD Framework.
AUA Annual Conference held at Leicester 2011
Recently the Network hosted an extremely successful one-day Conference at the University of Leicester to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of the AUA.
AUA at Leicester
The branch coordinator for the AUA at Leicester is Karen Bignold. Karen is looking to hold more local events, which will offer CPD and networking opportunities for staff at Leicester.
