Duncan Stanley joined the University of Leicester in 2010 with responsibilities for developing and delivering research skills to postgraduates in the College of Science and Engineering and the College of Social Sciences.  Prior to joining Leicester, he worked as a Researcher Development Manager at the University of Nottingham.  Duncan has a PhD in the area of Plant Biochemistry from the University of Otago, in New Zealand, and has spent a number of years as a post-doctoral researcher in both New Zealand and the UK.
