Staff Development Partnership

The Staff Development Partnership is incorporated in the Division of Human Resources and form part of the University's Corporate Services.  The Partnership is a collaboration of three Offices comprising of Leadership & Professional Development, Academic Practice Unit and IT Services Training & Communications.  The Partnership is also supported by the Safety Services Office. 

The Partnership is actively involved in developing staff at the University of Leicester.  Training and Development is available to all staff, which is provided by a partnership of expert trainers. 

The Staff Development Partnership is co-ordinated by a central Staff Development Team (Staff List) which provides personal, professional and career development advice and support for all staff, sharing and developing good practice and helping in the development of appropriate support systems.

An extensive range of training courses, is available, on both specialised and general topics, to individual staff members.                 

We also offer support to departments and teams in establishing training needs and providing tailored training to meet those needs.
