The Student Welfare Service is now taking applications for 30 Student Assistants for the International Students' Welcome Programme.

Apply NOW for your 2011/12 tuition fee loan
Do you need to apply for a fee loan for 2011/12?
You can apply if you will be:
- continuing on a full-time, undergraduate course
AND - you are a home (UK or EU) student
The application process for most students opens on 14th February – full details on www.direct.gov.uk/studentfinance
Full-time campus-based course fees for 2011/12 are £3,375

Launch of International Student Awards 2010
The International Student Awards 2010 have recently been launched. Please see: http://www2.le.ac.uk/ebulletin/student-news/2000-2009/2009/10/nparticle.2009-10-21.6409517403 for further information.
Students must be studying full-time on a course that lasts at least 6 months and be nationals of country outside the UK, and ordinarily resident outside the UK. EU students and exchange / Study Abroad students are therefore eligible.
The closing date is 18 January and all entries are made online at www.educationuk.org/shine
National Insurance for International Students
Are you looking to apply for a National Insurance number and are you are a non-EEA International Student with a current Student Visa?
