To book your accommodation for the Welcome Programme, please read the information below and then follow the link.
When can I book accommodation for the ISWP?
You can book accommodation for ISWP now - please use this link:
http://www2.le.ac.uk/offices/accommodation/iswp
The deadline for booking accommodation is 1st September 2011. You should aim to book accommodation for the ISWP before this wherever possible.
Will I have the same room for the ISWP as my term-time accommodation?
Where it is possible, your accommodation for the Welcome Programme will be the same as your term time accommodation. Sometimes this is not possible due to summer bookings and in this case you will be allocated a temporary room for the ISWP.
Students who are in temporary rooms, or are moving into private accommodation need to move by 12pm on Friday 28th September 2012.
How much does ISWP accommodation cost?
Accommodation is charged per night as below:
Self Catered - rates to be announced
Catered - rates to be announced (available for those with term time catered rooms only)
Please note that rates are different for Opal Court and The Grange - details are on the ISWP booking form.
When can I move into ISWP accommodation?
Rooms are available from 23rd September 2012 to 28th September 2012. If you will be arriving on or before 22nd September 2012, you will need to contact the Accommodation Office on accommodation@le.ac.uk. Please use ISWP in the subject title for all correspondence.
When will I find out where I will be staying and how do I get my keys?
When you have booked your room online, you will receive an email confirming your booking. This email will confirm your choice of catered or self catered accommodation. You will NOT find out your exact room allocation until you arrive.
Students in catered accommodation can collect their keys and find out their room allocation at Beaumont Hall Reception in the Oadby Student Village from 9am-5pm and at all other times from John Foster Hall Reception which has 24 hour cover.
Students who have booked self catered accommodation (City Living) will be able to collect their keys and find out their room allocation from Nixon Court Reception between 9am to 5pm. If you will be arriving outside these times, you need to contact Nixon Court at nixoncourt@le.ac.uk to let them know about your arrival time. This includes Salisbury Houses, John Frears, Freemen's Common and Mary Gee.
I still have questions – who should I contact?
If you have any queries about your accommodation please email accommodation@le.ac.uk and put ISWP in the subject box. To book your accommodation please click here and you will be directed to the University of Leicester accommodation website.
A separate booking for your permanent term-time accommodation must be made by going online at www.le.ac.uk/accommodation and submitting an online application. Please note that booking accommodation for the ISWP does not guarantee you accommodation for your studies and this must be arranged before you come to Leicester. If you are not staying in university accommodation for term time, please be aware that you will need to vacate your ISWP accommodation by 12pm on Friday 28th September 2012.
