Pregnancy
If you become pregnant during your studies there are additional funds you may be entitled to. Most additional funding becomes available once the baby is born, but in exceptional circumstances you may qualify for some support during your pregnancy.
If you are funded via student loans/grants and/or NHS bursaries then some of this funding will be directly related to your studies, such as additional support from Student Finance England or the NHS to supplement your current loans/grants/bursary.
Other funding will be available from external sources such as through the State Benefit and Tax Credit systems.
You may also qualify for assistance from the University’s discretionary funds such as the Access to Learning Fund.
