If you become pregnant during your studies there are additional funds you may be entitled to. Most additional funding becomes available once the baby is born, but in exceptional circumstances you may qualify for some support during your pregnancy.

If you are thinking of suspending your studies there will be a lot of things to consider. If this is something that you are seriously considering you are advised to come and see a Welfare Officer to discuss some of the possible implications. There can be academic implications of suspense, but this page focuses on the financial considerations.
