Who is this workshop for?

If you are a student in the arts and social sciences and would like to find out more about plagiarism and ways of preventing it, this workshop is for you.

What will it cover?

We will look at the definitions of plagiarism, how to avoid it and how to make the best use of sources within academic writing.

Do I need to do anything to prepare?

It would be useful to read your department's guidelines on plagiarism and referencing prior to the workshop,  so that you are familiar with the requirements of your specific discipline.
