How can I help and support the staff in my department?

Please make sure your colleagues are aware of this document and the information available on the AccessAbility Centre website.

Staff from the AccessAbility Centre can be invited into departments. This may be to speak to students during induction and/or to talk to staff about the AccessAbility Centre. The Centre always welcomes contact with departments and would like to work more closely with academic staff. AccessAbility Centre staff can:

• attend staff meetings;
• work with a group of students within a department;
• provide specific advice and guidelines on placements;
• work with AccessAbility Tutors and students to find out more about the student and staff perspective on teaching and learning.
