Assessed work cover sheet
If you have dyslexia, another specific learning difficulty or a disability, you can have an Assessed Work Cover Sheet to attach to course work. The Cover Sheet will tell the marker of your work about your difficulties.
If you would like an Assessed Work Cover Sheet and you are dyslexic or have a specific learning difficulty you need to make an appointment to see a member of staff in the AccessAbility Centre.
At the appointment the member of staff will use your Educational Psychologist's report or medical evidence and, in discussion with you, produce an Assessed Work Cover Sheet.
You will be given one copy of your Assessed Work Cover Sheet to keep and to produce further copies as you need them. If you lose your copy you will need to ask your Departmental Secretary for another one.
It is YOUR responsibility to hand in a copy of the Assessed Work Cover Sheet with every piece of assessed coursework.
The original Assessed Work Cover Sheet will be sent to the Examinations Office for distribution to your department/s.
The Departmental Secretary will place your Assessed Work Cover Sheet on your file and inform your Personal Tutor and the departmental AccessAbility Tutor about this.
There is a detailed instruction leaflet on Using your Assessed Work Cover Sheet.
