Before arriving at the University
The AccessAbility Centre do not usually require copies of Educational Psychologists Reports or detailed information about your disability before you arrive at the University. The Centre will not ask students to fill in detailed questionnaires about their requirements prior to enrolment.
This is not because the Univeristy is not interested in your situation. It is to avoid the need for you to send paperwork to every University you apply to. If you have any concerns, or want to discuss your particular situation with a member of staff, you are very welcome to contact the Centre.
All students who meet their offer will be contacted before enrolment and given some detailed information about how to access support. Students are invited to contact the AccessAbility Centre to meet with a member of staff in the first few weeks of term, and it is at this stage that you should bring any paperwork (Educational Psychologist Report, medical note) that gives details about your requirements.
