BMI
As a guide on your body proportionality, body mass index is the best method of measurement.
BMR
Basal metabolic rate calculates how much energy (calories) your body needs to carry out basic bodily functions. Factor in your activity and exercise levels and you can find out what calorie intake you should be on.
Waist to Hip Ratio
This is a great way to ascertain how much weight you are carrying around your middle, higher waist to hip ratios carry a higher risk of diseases affecting the organs.
BMI, BMR and WHR are guides and should be used as such.
