Associate members may use both the University Sports Centre on main campus and the Manor Road Sports Centre - your membership covers you for use of both sites.
How to apply
- Associate Application Form - The new form will be available from reception.
- Alumni membership will be available once the Manor Road Sports Centre facilities re-open in October and the University Sports Centre reopens on Monday 24 September. Alumni membership can be purchased at either location.
However the easiest location for purchase is the University Sports Centre on main campus and between 0930-1500 hrs Mon-Fri. This is because the Community User ID card can be obtained at that time and the main campus parking permit applied for.

- Individual - Just you and any children up to 16 years of age
- Family - You, your partner and any children up to 16 years of age
How to pay
- For annual membership you may pay by cash, debit/credit card or cheque. Please make any cheques payable to "The University of Leicester".
- If you wish to pay by direct debit please bring with you one form of photo ID (Passport, Driving Licence) and something with your bank details on (Sort Code and Account Number) as well as your name. This could be your debit card (check it has both your sort code and a/c number on) or a bank statement.
Parking at University Sports Centre
- Parking at the University Sports Centre will be free of charge for alumni during opening hours. You will however need to display a parking permit. Please complete this Sports Centre Parking Permit application form (Word, pdf) and bring it with you when you join up. We will apply for your permit and it will be available for collection at reception a few days later.
Parking at the Manor Road Sports Centre
- Parking at the Manor Road Sports Centre will be free for Associate members at all times.
