Alumni (graduates) and associates
Already a member of Nuffield?
If you are a University of Leicester graduate/associate and you were a member of the Nuffield Health Club at the time of closure you are eligible to become a member of the University Sports Centre from 2 April 2012. Please complete the relevant application form and bring it to the Sports Centre reception. Your membership will be verified thereafter.
Categories of membership
Your membership can be:
- Individual - just you and any children up to 16 years of age
- Family - you and your partner and any children up to 16 years of age
Levels of membership
There are two membership levels available to alumni and associates:
Gold Membership
Entitles you to unlimited use of:
- Group fitness classes
- Sports Hall (5-a-side, volleyball, basketball, netball, cricket nets)
- Pool, sauna, steam room and spa Pool
- Gym (cardiovascular and fixed weight resistance areas)
Monthly fee: £45 for individual, £90 for family membership
Gold+ Membership
All the benefits of Gold but you also get a clean, fresh towel upon arrival at the club every time you visit!
Monthly fee: £50 for individual, £100 for family membership
Not currently a member of Nuffield?
We are currently only accepting membership applications from alumni and associates of the University who were also members of the Nuffield Health Club. Please note that Nuffield will no longer enrol new members.
The number of members that the Sports Centre can cope with is finite so we will have to wait and see what level of uptake we get from staff, students and eligible alumni/associates. There may be capacity for other alumni and associates to join and this will be done on a strictly first come, first served basis, using a waiting list.

Don't forget our sports facilities within the Oadby Student Village are open for use to all and we have various membership options there.
