The Swimming Club caters for all abilities of swimmers!
You can swim in the training lanes to develop fitness and technique, or swim in the ‘social’ lanes to swim at your own leisurely pace. All 
members of the club will have access to training equipment and coaching from qualified peer members during pool time.
Competition
Throughout the year there are various friendly competitions against local universities which all members of the club are encouraged to take part in. There is also the long-course and
short-course British Universities’ National Championships (BUCs) which is held over two separate weekends (both subsidised) held at Pond’s Forge in Sheffield. BUCS has limited spaces and is highly competitive, but is also a notoriously entertaining social occasion!
Social
As well as the training and competition side, the club also regularly hosts social events which are a great way to meet and get to know other club members, and promises a legendary and memorable night!
