Whether you’ve just stepped off the plane from GB Ski training, have all the tricks in the park or have never even set foot on snow, Leicester University Ski and Snowboard Club (LUSSC) has something to offer anyone who wants to try or continue participating in snowsports.
Weekly sessions to the dryslope, snowdomes and a huge variety of other opportunities, such as freestyle nights and race training from GB accredited coaches also ensure that LUSSC has something to offer to all levels of ability. LUSSC offers the best possible opportunity to learn to ski or snowboard in a friendly environment with hugely subsidised prices.
For the more competitive members of the club, they can compete at the British University Championships on both snow and dryslope in both racing and freestyle disciplines.
Socially LUSSC is also the club to be part of with the biggest and most exciting socials, most notably the notorious camera social that attracts over 200 people. The highlights of the LUSSC year are definitely the two holidays to the Alps at Christmas and Easter, which prove to be one of the high points of many people’s university experience.
