In Rugby League the fittest, most determined team wins. It is the most thrilling contact sport, where athletic ability and a will to win matters most. University of Leicester Rugby League Club (ULRLFC) is renowned for its friendly and inviting atmosphere. Joining the club gives members an opportunity to meet new friends with a common interest and shared purpose.

Members

The club was formed 27 years ago and since then it has created generations of friends for life, many of whom come back for the annual “old boys” game, where current students play past players – a highlight of the year.

Coaching

There is a brilliant team of senior players in the club who coach and take responsibility for training beginners and those from a Rugby Union background and developing them into Rugby League players.

Joining the University of Leicester Rugby League Club will be the best decision you make in Freshers’ week and really makes you part of something with a history to be proud of.

Social

The club socials are good natured, with each one a little bit different from the others in order to keep it fresh and fun.
