Members
We welcome members of any ability, so even if you have never had the opportunity to try it before we can show you the ropes. Members can also benefit from club equipment which helps you get started. Training sessions take place twice a week at a local climbing wall, which offers a great opportunity to practice technique and meet other members of the club.
Trips
As well as this, we run frequent trips to various locations across the country, including the Lake District, the Peak District and Wales, where you can climb some real rock; and experience the social side of the club.
Social
You can also have fun with regular social events, including a roped-up social and an end of year ball. So if you’re looking for a club with fun, excitement and adventure look no further than the mountaineering club!
