Lacrosse is a fast and fun sport played by both men and women. The vast majority of people have never played lacrosse before they come to university, so don't worry if you've got no experience. Every year we get loads of people who join that are completely new to the game and they quickly pick it up and love it.
Competition
Our Men's and Women's teams compete in the Midlands BUCS Leagues against other universities in the region. These games are on Wednesday afternoons. Whilst the Men’s and Women’s games are very different, we have professional coaches for both versions of the sport.
Mixed lacrosse is a non-contact version of the game played by teams consisting of both men and women. The mixed team plays in a Midlands University League and the games are generally the best way to spend Sunday afternoons, playing lacrosse then hitting the pub afterwards.
Social
We also have weekly socials and go on tour to Spain every Easter.
