Members

The Mixed Hockey Club is a great club to be part of, emphasising serious, yet fun, hockey, appealing to all abilities. Everyone is welcome to come along and get involved in a club that plays and trains with enthusiasm and bonds you with an excellent set of friends to see you through your university experience.

Competition

We have one team at present in the Leicestershire & Rutland Hockey Association league and next year we will be entering a second team, offering weekly matches for anyone who wants to take part. We are also involved in tournaments and an annual hockey tour abroad, an event you will remember for many years to come!

Social

Or if you are more interested in the social side, we have weekly socials that include fancy dress and bar crawls to the Student Union, which are great ways to get to know your fellow students. The Mixed Hockey Club makes up a third of the University of Leicester hockey club, offering even more playing opportunities and chances to socialise through our inter club events and socials with Men’s and Ladies’ hockey.
