Now established as an annual event, the G-STEM Conference gives a real life taster of studying STEM courses (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and related subjects at University.
Attendees have enhanced access to staff and students from the participating departments and an opportunity to choose a number of interactive workshops, gaining firsthand experience of what these disciplines have to offer and how they may lead to satisfying and rewarding career opportunities. Hopefully this will inspire students to pursue these courses in the future.
The event is specifically aimed at academically able Year 12 students who are interested in exploring these subjects further.
G-STEM 2013 will take place on Tuesday 18 June 2013
