Length of a Teaching Session
The length of a teaching session is 50 minutes. This allows for a five minute change over time at the beginning and end of each hour-long block.
It is particularly important that the change over time is allowed for in large lecture theatres when there is a considerable volume of traffic needing to leave and enter the room.
